Walt Disney Studios continues to add live-action versions of classic animated movies to its list of promising projects. According to The Wrap, it now lists a feature movie project based on the 1940 Pinocchio cartoon. It is ready to be directed by the creator of the last two episodes of Bond, Sam Mendes. The script for the future movie will be prepared by Peter Hedges, who previously worked on such movies as "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" and "My Boy".
