Film studio New Line has won the right to movie the popular arcade game Fruit Ninja in a tense struggle. This is reported by The Wrap with reference to its sources. The movie will be supervised by producer Trip Vinson, who has credits such movies as Sae-Andreas Rift and Witch Hunters. Chad Damiani, who previously worked on the screenplay of the illustrated guide How to Survive the Garden Gnome Uprising, was commissioned to adapt the game's events for the screen. The genre of the project at the time of this writing was not specified, previously it was assumed that the movie adaptation would become a "family comedy". The shooting and possible rental schedule is not known. The expected production budget of the movie, as well as the leading actors, were also not specified. Recall that the game "Fruit Ninja" was created in 2010 by the Australian studio Halfbrick Studios and debuted for devices running the iOS operating system. Later it appeared in a version for platforms running Android and Windows.
