It's obvious," Blomcamp wrote in the comments to the picture. Recall that the movie "Alien 5" will take place in the universe created by Ridley Scott and James Cameron, and the plot is based on the own ideas of the South African director, who has repeatedly confessed his love for the franchise. The management of the 20th Century Fox movie studio approved his project in early 2015 and agreed to provide the necessary funding. It is expected that the plot of the picture will ignore the third and fourth episodes of "Alien", and the main characters will again be Ellen Ripley and Corporal Dwayne Hicks.
