Josh Brolin to play Cable in Deadpool II (Topic)

Ryan Reynolds and the production team of Deadpool 2 have confirmed one of the key roles. According to the publication, the role of the mutant Cable went to Josh Brolin. This is a rather unexpected decision, since Michael Shannon was previously considered the main contender. Russell Crowe, David Harbor and even Brad Pitt were also considered.

Note that Brolin has extensive experience working in science fiction movies in general and in comic book adaptations in particular. He starred in the movie "John Hex", and also played the role of Thanos in the third part of "The Avengers".
