BAFTA 2017 nominees announced (Topic)

The British Film Academy announced the list of nominees for the BAFTA 2017. The musical "La La Land" became the absolute leader in terms of the number of references, which will be able to apply for 11 awards. The movies "Arrival" and "Under the Cover of Night" each have nine nominations. The following movie projects will compete for the BAFTA 2017 in the main categories:

4. Ryan Gosling - La La Land

5. Viggo Mortensen - "Captain Fantastic"

Best Animated Film

1. "Finding Dory"

2. "Kubo. The Legend of the Samurai"

3. "Moana"

4. "Zootopia"

Best Director

1. Denis Villeneuve - "Arrival"

2. Damien Chazelle - La La Land

3. Ken Loach - "I, Daniel Blake"

4. Kenneth Lonergan - "Manchester by the Sea"

5. Tom Ford - "Under Cover of the Night".

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on February 12, 2017.
