Vladimir Mikhailovich Zeldin was born in the city of Michurinsk, Tambov province in 1915, after the end of the Civil War, in 1924, the Zeldin family moved to Moscow. The future famous artist began his career at a factory where he worked as a mechanic. In 1935 he graduated from the theater workshops at the MGSPS Theater and began serving at the Transport Theater, where he played many roles in various productions.
