Mass Effect: Andromeda, a third-person RPG shooter, will not premiere in 2016. As reported by IGN, he spoke about this at the conference Morgan Stanley ’ s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference is one of the leaders of EA Blake Jorgensen.

He did not give an exact release date, saying only that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be presented to users in the first half of 2017. As a reminder, the game was announced at E3 in the summer of 2015 with a promise to release it by the end of 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Very little was known about the plot of the game at the time of this writing. According to some reports, the main character will no longer be Shepard, but a different character, and the action will develop in a different sector of outer space - in the Andromeda Galaxy. The game will be built on the Frostbite Engine 3.5.

Blake Jorgensen did not specify the reason for the postponement. At the same time, he confirmed plans for other releases, notably "Titanfall 2" and "Battlefield 5". The action of the latter is expected to take place during the First World War.
