Steve Carell will star in a true-to-life movie directed by Robert Zemeckis. This is reported by the Variety edition.
In the center of the plot will be a man trying to recover from an attack that almost cost him his life in a very original way. He builds a miniature WWII village in his backyard, which he inhabits with dolls, giving each one its own story and character.
The starting point for the movie will be a documentary movieed by Jeff Mulberg in 2010. The project, which Zemeckis plans to shoot with his ImageMovers studio, will be funded by Universal Pictures. The shooting schedule and the possible release date of the movie have not been specified yet.
Recall that in 2014 Steve Carell was nominated for an Oscar for his role in the movie "The Fox Hunter". As for Robert Zemeckis, in 2015 the audience will be presented with his movie "The Walk". It tells how in 1974 the French tightrope walker Philippe Petit decided to do a unique and unrepeatable trick - to walk without any insurance from one tower of the World Trade Center in New York to another on a tightrope stretched between them. He also plans to shoot an as-yet-untitled project with Brad Pitt.
