Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer Set New Record

Game of Thrones has broken its own record. Trailer for the upcoming sixth season of the show – which confirmed or not confirmed the fate of Jon Snow – has been viewed thirty million times in the first twenty-four hours since launch. Thus, the record set in 2014 by the trailer for the fourth season of the fantasy series is broken. Then the trailer was watched twenty-seven million times. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

This interest in the HBO series is not surprising, since in the sixth season of the series the events will be shown before fans of the works of George R.R. Martin will have the opportunity to read about them in books. The fifth season ended with a big intrigue – Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was stabbed to death by his brothers in the Night's Watch. The fan-beloved character and his fate were at the center of a real marketing campaign ahead of season six, as Snow's future remains a mystery. Many months later, after various rumors and speculations, the actor recently confirmed that he was movieing in the sixth season, but, supposedly, only as a corpse. Anything in the trailer regarding Snow leaves room for discussion.

Game of Thrones season 6 will premiere on April 24, 2016.
