California lawmakers have proposed blocking Pokemon GO players while driving. According to Gamespot, this will be done to ensure the safety of the user and people around.

This law will help to avoid many accidents that occur due to the fact that drivers are distracted while driving. An example is the situation in Japan, where during one week the number of such incidents was very high, including fatalities when a 20-year-old girl was hit by a car because the man who was driving her was busy playing.

Note that when a user enters Pokemon GO, various messages will instantly pop up on the screen to alert players and remind them of the dangers.

Let us also recall that immediately after the launch of the game, curious and dramatic cases began to be recorded around the world. For example, two players fell off a cliff into the ocean in California because they were staring at the phone. Also, another player crashed into a parked police car because he was busy playing.

The game does not count the distance traveled if the person moves at a speed greater than a certain speed, which prevents users from unfairly leveling up and getting new Pokemon.
