Leonardo DiCaprio to star in Ridley Scott's movie
20th Century Fox has acquired the rights to movie a new novel by famous American writer Don Winslow, "The Cartel". According to Deadline, the movie will be directed by Ridley Scott and the lead role will be offered by Leonardo DiCaprio. It is alleged that the author himself opted for the offer from Fox precisely because of the candidacy of the director and performer of the title role. Sony Pictures and Paramount also competed for the movie rights.
