Michael Ironside will play the father of Captain Cold
The Snart family is getting bigger. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Ironside ("Stargate SG - 1") has been cast as Lewis Snart, abusive father of Leonard Snart / Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Lisa Snart / Golden Glider (Peyton List) in The CW The Flash. Lewis Snart is described as a cold-blooded ruthless professional criminal. Recently released from prison, he returns to Central City with a plan that endangers the lives of both of his children. In the comics, little is known about the patriarch of the family, except that he was so cruel towards his son – future Captain Cold – that he preferred to live with his grandfather, the driver of a refrigerated truck most of the time. Ironside will guest-star in an episode titled "Family of Rogues." Miller and Liszt will appear in the same series as their sinister alter egos.
