Popular Hollywood actress Jane Fonda has been a victim of childhood sexual abuse. She herself spoke about this in an interview with her colleague Brie Larson for The Edit.

"I was sexually abused when I was still a child, and once I was fired just because I did not agree to sleep with my boss. I always thought it was my fault that I did something wrong or said something- I know young girls who were raped, but did not even realize that it was rape. They sincerely believe that it happened to them only because they said no in the wrong form I believe that the most important achievement of the feminist movement is precisely the fact that we women have finally understood that rape is not our fault, "she said.

At the same time, Fonda admitted that there were always "wonderful men" in her environment, but they were all "victims of the patriarchal system of world perception."

Recall that Jane Fonda acted in movies since the early 60s of the last century. She has many famous movies to her credit, and her professional achievements have been marked by many of the most prestigious movie awards, including two Oscars.
