A long-suffering remake of the movie "The Raven", based on the graphic novel of the same name by James O'Barr. for the umpteenth time was left without a leading actor and director. According to Deadline, Jason Momoa and Corinne Hardy left the project.

It is also stated that Sony Pictures, which intended to become a distributor of the project and even already announced a release date for the project, could not agree on the terms of its contract with Davis Films, which owns the rights to the comic book characters. Note that movieing was supposed to start in early July 2019 in Budapest.

Initially, the Relativity studio planned to deal with the new movie adaptation of The Crow. Preparations for the creation of a new movie were announced back in 2010. Since then, the movie adaptation has changed several directors and leading actors. Bradley Cooper, Tom Hiddleston, James McAvoy and Luke Evans were considered the performers of the role of Eric Draven at various times. In 2016, the studio Relativity refused to participate in the creation of this movie, having ceded the rights to the movie adaptation of Sony Pictures.
