Blade Runner 2049 starts much worse than forecasted (Topic)

The science fiction movie Blade Runner 2049 may start in North America much worse than the most pessimistic forecasts promised him. According to the publication Deadline, the dynamics of the box office in the first days of rental indicates that the picture will earn about $ 36 million in the American market by the end of the premiere weekend.

Note that early forecasts promised it from $ 40 to $ 50 million the first weekend. If events develop in this way, then the sequel to the cult movie released in 1982 is unlikely to be able to raise even $ 100 million at home.

The publication notes that the production budget of Blade Runner 2049 is much larger than stated earlier - $ 170 million instead of $ 155 million.
