The main contender for the post of director of the 25th James Bond movie has been announced
Companies MGM and Eon, which own the rights to "Bondiana", have decided on the director of the twenty-fifth, anniversary, episode of the popular franchise. According to Variety, citing its sources, British director Danny Boyle has become it. It is noted that Boyle has not received any formal proposals from partners yet, but this may happen in the near future. The director himself has repeatedly stressed that he would be happy to shoot one of the future episodes of "Bond." It is noteworthy that the actor Daniel Craig, who agreed to play an agent in the service of Her Majesty in the 25th episode, claimed that he was ready work under the direction of the French-Canadian director Denis Villeneuve and even arranged his meeting with the producers of "Bondiana" Barbara Broccoli and Michael J. Wilson. But, most likely, the parties failed to agree. The movie will be presented to viewers in November 2019. As for Danny Boyle, in 2017, viewers could see his movie called T2 Trainspotting.
