War of the Planet of the Apes won major special effects awards
The Visaul Effects Society Awards took place in the USA, which is awarded by the international community of special effects experts. The main awards went to the fantastic movie "War of the Planet of the Apes", which also won in such categories as "Best Special Effects in a Feature Film" and "Best Animated Character in a Feature Film". In the category "Best Supporting Film" special effects in feature movie "Dunkirk" was awarded. In the nomination "Best Photorealistic Environment" the leader was the fantastic movie "Blade Runner 2049". Among the full-length animation projects, the cartoon "Coco's Secret" was the best special effects. In the same cartoon, the best drawn character - Hector turned out to be. In the series section, the award for the best special effects went to the TV series "Game of Thrones", episode "Beyond the Wall". And the best auxiliary special effects were in the series "Black Sails". The best animated character in the series was discovered by experts in the series "Game of Thrones" (Attack of the dragon on the army with carts).
