Sony Pictures Introduces Spider-Woman
Sony Pictures Film Studio intends to significantly expand the animated cinematic universe of Spider-Man. According to the Deadline edition, a full-length cartoon will be launched into production, the plot of which will be built around the Spider-Woman, or rather several heroines hiding under this mask and pseudonym. Lauren Montgomery, the creator of a whole series of cartoons, was appointed director of the project based on DC comics and also author of Voltron: The Legendary Defender. The production functions were taken over by Amy Pascal, who previously headed Sony Pictures. The date of creation and a possible rental schedule have not yet been specified. Recall that in mid-December 2018 the cartoon "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" will be released, in which the superhero will be not Peter Parker, but Miles Morales ... Experts expect it to start at $ 40-50 million in North America. Liv Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Mahershala Ali, Shameik Moore and other artists took part in the voicing of the characters.
