The parents of Anton Yelchin, who died two years ago, entered into an amicable agreement with Fiat Chrysler, the manufacturer of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, which caused the death of the actor. This is reported by the TMZ edition.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but, according to insiders, this is a very solid monetary compensation, which the automaker agreed to pay to the Yelchin family. The money will be donated to the Anton Yelchin Foundation, which was created to help talented young people. Part of the funds will be invested in the creation of a documentary about Anton Yelchin.

Recall that the 27-year-old actor died in June 2016. Having driven his car outside the gate of the house, he got out of the car to check the mailbox. At that moment, the jeep rolled back and pressed Yelchin to the fence. The actor's body was discovered several hours later by his friends, with whom he was supposed to meet. A large batch of cars of this brand was recalled by the manufacturer due to a defect in the automatic transmission, which most likely caused the dramatic denouement.

Anton Yelchin starred in such popular Hollywood movies as "Terminator: May the Savior Come ", Star Trek and others.
