Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio announced a new joint project
Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio will once again join forces and talents on set. As reported by Collider, their next joint project will be based on the work of David Grann "Killer of the Flower Moon." The novel, which describes real events, takes place in the 20s of the last century, and in the center of the plot is a series of mysterious murders in Oklahoma, investigated by the newly formed FBI. The screenplay will be prepared by the famous Eric Roth. “When I read the book by David Grann, I immediately began to imagine its events, characters, historical scenery, action and I knew what I had to make a movie based on it. I am so happy to work with Eric Roth and reunite with Leo DiCaprio to bring this a truly disturbing American story on screen, " - said in a statement Scorsese. Most likely, movieing will start in the summer of 2019 with an eye on the premiere in the middle of next year. The rental schedule has not yet been officially announced.
