Gore Verbinski gave up Gambit
The long-suffering movie adaptation of the Gambit comics was once again left without a director. According to Deadline, Gor Verbinski refused to participate in the 20th Century Fox project. As the reason, the conflict between movieing schedules and the director's obligations under other contracts are indicated. It is worth noting that the studio has already announced the premiere of the movie on February 14, 2019, and therefore movieing should have started no later than the beginning of February 2018. Now the studio is going to release the tape on June 7, 2019 .. Recall that 20th Century Fox has been trying to start producing this picture for many years. The original director of the movie was Rupert Wyatt and was slated for release in October 2016.
