Universal has chosen director for the Remake with Eyes of Fire
The directors of the Universal Film Studio have chosen to direct the new version of the movie "Ignite with Eyes", based on the work of Stephen King. According to the Variety edition, it will be Fatih Akin, the creator of the acclaimed drama "At the Limit." Screenwriter Scott Tims will adapt the novel for the screen, Akiva Goldsman and Jason Bloom are appointed producers. Recall that the novel "Igniting with a Look" was published in 1980. In the center of the plot is a father and his young daughter, who have supernatural powers: he knows how to inspire thoughts and generate visions, she has the ability to pyrokinesis, that is, can cause objects to ignite at a distance. The heroes are pursued by a secret organization called the Office, which seeks to turn their abilities into weapons.
