The Central Bank of USA announced the release of a series of coins made of precious metals, which will be dedicated to the heroes of popular Soviet and USA cartoons. In particular, as reported on the bank's official website, fans of USA animation will be able to purchase silver coins with images of Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the 1969 Soviet cartoon Winnie the Pooh.

In addition, commemorative coins "Three Bogatyr "with images of characters from the multi-part project of the Melnitsa studio. These coins will be produced in three versions: silver coins with a face value of 3 rubles (circulation - 3000 pieces); coins of base metals with a denomination of 25 rubles in regular and special versions. Mintage - 450,000 and 50,000, respectively.

Note, that at the time of this writing, the last cartoon from the "Three Heroes" series called "Three Bogatyrs and the Princess of Egypt" was released in USA on December 28, 2017.
