Hackers published Game of Thrones script and HBO management correspondence
The group of hackers, which took responsibility for breaking into the servers of the HBO channel, fulfilled their threat and published some of the documents that came into their possession. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, we are talking about the script for some episodes of the seventh season of the TV series "Game of Thrones", as well as excerpts from the email correspondence of one of the heads of the company. Thus, the statements made earlier by the management of HBO about the security servers are not supported by facts. The hackers also released a video, addressed to the director of the company, Richard Plepler, in which they admitted that penetrating the company's internal network was not an easy task, but in the end "they coped with this task." According to the attackers, it took about six months in total. The hackers first announced their financial claims, but did not specify the amount in a message to the company's management. They stressed that this is already "the seventeenth such case" for them, and only in three cases they have not received a ransom before.
