First Eternal Concept Art Revealed
Marvel Production Designer Thomas Polito has unveiled the first concept art for a comic book adaptation called "The Eternals." The illustration was posted on his official Twitter channel. The movie will star Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry, Ma Dong-sok and other actors. The movie will be presented to viewers as part of the so-called fourth phase of the development of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will be the studio's next team project after The Avengers. Recall that the Eternals were invented by Jack Kirby and debuted in comics in 1976. According to Marvel mythology, these creatures were created as a result of experiments carried out millions of years ago by the immortal gods of the Celestials. Eternals are practically invulnerable to all types of weapons. They possess many supernatural powers. Their goal is to resist the Deviants. Note that the Celestials have already been mentioned in the movie adaptations of the Marvel comics. In particular, in the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" the head of one of them was used as a space base. The production of the movie "The Eternals" will be directed by Chloe Zhao.
