Sony Pictures' problematic project "The Unknown: Drake's Luck", which is the adaptation of the popular series of adventure video games, has once again lost its director. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Travis Knight left the project.

Anonymous informants cite a conflict between movieing schedules as the reason. Allegedly, the shooting of the next movie about Spider-Man, in which the leading actor Tom Holland is shot, may be delayed, which will affect the distribution schedule of "The Unknown." And Knight cannot wait because of other obligations. Sony Pictures studio has so far refrained from commenting on this.

Recall that earlier many other directors, including Dan Traktenberg, refused to movie the adaptation. Seth Gordon, Sean Levy and others.

The movie, tentatively titled "The Unknown: Drake's Luck", was slated for release on December 18, 2020. The popular third-person action-adventure shooter "Uncharted" debuted in 2007. The latest episode, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," as of this post, premiered in 2016.
