Alien and its sequel producer Walter Hill has prepared a 50-page script for the fifth xenomorph movie with acid instead of blood. The performer of the role of Ellen Ripley Sigourney Weaver spoke about this in an interview with the correspondents of Empire Online.
The actress admitted that she did not know the plans of 20th Century Fox regarding Hill's new ideas. "Ridley took the series in a different direction. Maybe Ripley has already fulfilled her mission and deserves a rest," she commented.
Recall that it is not the first year that there has been talk of movieing the fifth part of the famous series. South African director Neil Blomkamp shared his ideas with fans and the management of Fox studio. Despite the fact that he presented detailed concepts and secured the consent of Weaver herself, as well as some other participants in the original movies, his version never received the green light.
Director Ridley Scott convinced the studio management of the need to movie his scripts. The results were completely inconclusive. Thus, the movie "Alien: Covenant" with a production budget of $ 100 million grossed only $ 240 million worldwide, that is, barely recouped the cost of movieing.
