Roma received a Directors Guild of the USA award
Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Hollywood & The Highland Center in Los Angeles, USA hosted the 71st Directors Guild Awards. The awards were given to both experienced movie and television directors and debutants. Alfonso Cuaron, who directed the drama "Roma", received the main award in the category "Best Feature Film". As a reminder, Cuaron has already received a Golden Globe for his movie, as well as several nominations for BAFTA and Oscars. The Guild awarded the Best Directorial Debut Award to Bo Burnham, who directed the comedy drama Eighth Grade .
