The popular television series "Downton Abbey" will be the basis for the feature movie of the same name. According to The Wrap, original show creator Julian Fellows will script and executive produce the movie. The movie will be directed by Carnival Films production, while Focus Features and Universal Pictures International will provide theatrical distribution. “When the TV series came to an end, we had a dream - to bring millions of fans to theaters, and now, after all the stars have gone, we will be launching the movie in the near future.
