In Moscow, at the age of 88, the famous Soviet director and screenwriter Georgy Danelia died. This was reported by "Novaya Gazeta" with reference to the cinematographer's relatives.

Danelia was born in Tiflis in 1930. He graduated from the Architectural Institute and worked for some time in his specialty, but then decided to make changes in his working biography and entered the Higher Directing Courses, the training in which lasted until 1959.
