The Governor of California has closed all cinemas

California Governor Gavin Newsom has ordered to close all state cinemas again indefinitely. He announced this on his official page on the social network Twitter. The reason is the increased number of people infected with coronavirus infection. In addition, other entertainment venues, as well as restaurants, zoos, museums and so on, would also be closed.

Thus, the resumption of rental at the largest movie market in North America remains in question. The timing of the resumption of movie production is also unknown.

Recall that Hollywood studios planned to start releasing their large-budget movie projects from mid-July 2020. However, the situation with the spread of coronavirus, which the US authorities cannot control, forced them to revise their rental schedules.

The first large-scale release was supposed to be a fantastic movie "Argument" directed by Christopher Nolan. Now it is announced for August 12, but this date seems unrealistic to most experts. Argument is to be followed by the Walt Disney movie Mulan, based on the Chinese legend of the girl warrior.
