The name of Darth Vader's father is revealed
The mystery of the birth of Anakin Skywalker, which has occupied the minds of Star Wars fans for many years, has finally been revealed. According to Dork Side, the secret was revealed in issue 25 of the Darth Vader comic. Anakin's conception has previously been the subject of various suggestions based on a statement by Anakin's mother Shmi Skywalker from Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. She is known to have claimed that her child had no biological father. Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn assumed that Anakin was conceived by the Force itself, and this is what explained his unusual abilities, in particular, his lightning-fast reaction and the ability, even at an extremely young age, to repair the most complex equipment and drive high-speed vehicles. As follows from the comic, Anakin Skywalker's sort of father was Palpatine himself, who managed to create life through manipulation of the Force, which he in turn learned from his mentor before killing the latter. In Star Wars: Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith, Palpatine hinted to the grown-up Anakin about this possibility, and argued that the Jedi could not teach him this.
