Huawei has made an official presentation of its new development - the Honor Note 10. The novelty is part of a series of mobile devices with new technologies under the Honor brand.

Work on the creation of the smartphone lasted two years. Among the characteristics of the new flagship that can arouse user interest are liquid tube cooling technology, the presence of turbo mode, the top-end Kirin 970 chipset and a wide, in fact 7-inch screen (more precisely - 6.95).

New technological solutions

The 6.95-inch AMOLED screen of the flagship Honor Note 10 is characterized by high contrast and brightness of reproduction, and also determines compatibility with the extended HDR10 format. The new smartphone from Huawei has a built-in turbo mode. Activating turbo mode increases the overall performance of the device, accelerating not only the operation of the chipset cores, but also the graphics component. The Turbo button also controls the camera shutter, and it can also be reconfigured for other functionality.

Another innovation of the announced flagship is the liquid cooling system of the device according to the same principle as for personal computers. Based on cooling tubes, the system provides heat dissipation and reduces processor heat. The PC-like cooling system contains eight modes to ensure heat dissipation.

Key Features

The presence of artificial intelligence makes it possible to render pixels, which at the output gives a higher quality bright image. The work of the novelty is provided by the Kirin 970 series chipset, developed by a subsidiary of Huawei. The processor has 8 ARM Cortex cores: (4+ 4 with 2.4 and 1.8 GHz supported frequencies).

The smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. The manufacturer claims that the battery provides more than 24 hours of continuous battery life for the phone. The company also gives an example that the battery can withstand about 4.5-6.5 hours of continuous running games. A special development of a proprietary charger can recharge a smartphone in a couple of hours.

Honor Note 10 has a speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos technology. The smartphone is equipped with slots for two SIM cards, a USB Type-C port, the device supports standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, GPS and NFC technologies. For retail sales, the device will have pre-installed Android 8.18.1 Oreo OS with EMUI 8.2 shell. Versions with 6 and 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of 64 and 128 GB will go on sale. The microSD card expands the capacity up to 256GB.

The hardware of the smartphone is represented by a 16 MP and 24 MP dual camera. The camera has a built-in AIS image stabilization system, which is more focused on long exposure night shots. The 13MP front camera has received an artificial intelligence tool that provides high-quality artistic images.

The outer casing of the phone is an all-metal construction with no frames and a double-sided glass coating. The glass layer is metal sprayed with nanocrystals for extra shine when lighting changes. The thin bezels made the Honor Note 10 narrower than its predecessor, the Note 8. The weight of the new item is 230 g, the dimensions are 17.7 x 8.5 cm, and the thickness is 7.65 mm.
