Anologue Pocket announced for launching Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games

The trend for retro and classic consoles is stronger than ever, as Anologue announced with the announcement of its Analogue Pocket handheld console for running Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games.

This console can run 2,780 Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games. In addition, its adapter can read games from cartridges from similar consoles, such as Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Atari Lynx.

Externally, it is a mini-console with a 3.5-inch liquid crystal screen, and a resolution of 1600 x 1444. The battery is charged via a USB adapter, and the rest is minor: a headphone jack, new stereo speakers, the ability to reassign buttons.

Another little nice thing is the built-in Nanoloop synthesizer. Since the Game Boy is popular with chiptune artists, the new console doesn't forget this moment. Also, thanks to FPGA chips, new functions can be put into the console that were not available at its release. This is aimed at developers.

A console with an Analogue Dock is on sale, with which it can be connected to a TV via HDMI, plus controllers can be connected to the station via Bluetooth or USB.

Analogue Pocket goes on sale next year with a price tag of $ 199.

Volition will fix the PC port of Saints Row 2

In less than ten years [no, it has passed], Volition will be able to fix the worst port of Saints Row 2 on the PC, which was once our Batman Arkham Knight. Ridiculously, the port is the brainchild of CD Project Red, and was full of bugs, glitches and issues that prevented gamers from playing through the game. Fans had to release patches for the game themselves, which only slightly corrected the situation.

It seemed that after the bankruptcy of THQ, the game code would be impossible to get, but on a recent stream dedicated to the game's birthday, one of the authors of the series working at Volition announced that they had managed to find it and they could fix the port.

A group of only two people will be involved in the resuscitation of the game. It will also add two add-ons Ultor Exposed and Corporate Warfare, which have not been released on PC before.

The studio announced that the game will be distributed free of charge to anyone who owns it on Steam. As regards, the developer does not specify, nor does it name specific dates for the release of the update.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is postponed

After the presentation of the gameplay of the game at Gamescom, many gaming publications wrote that the game was technically lame. As a result, the developer confirmed this and postponed the release of the game to a later date in 2020.

According to the developers, such a decision is quite justified, because they are not just creating an heir to the original game, but also want to avoid its mistakes, because last time the game came out crude in terms of elaboration, buggy and with a large share of cut content.

Although, according to their own words, the decision was not easy for them, since they specially recruited new employees and established many internal processes in the studio, but this turned out to be not enough to be in time by the appointed time. The exact release date is still unknown.
