Gimp. Lesson 4. Changing an individual element in a photo

Image

This article will show you how to change an individual element in a photo in Gimp.

An overview of the Gimp program, information on its installation, as well as acquaintance with the interface can be found in the article - Overview of the graphical editor Gimp

In this lesson we will learn how to change individual elements in a photo using the example of car wheels. To do this, we need a photograph of the car for which we will select the disks, and a photograph of the disks themselves. They can be cut from a photo of another car, or you can find a separate picture of disks on the Internet. We'll use the first method.

Step 1. In the working area of the Gimp, load a photo of the car, to which we will apply a layer with disks ("File " - " Open ... "). For now, we minimize this image so that it doesn't interfere with us.
