This will not happen soon. According to insiders, the new product will not be brought to MWC 2020. Previously, there was information about the release of this device on this forum. They haven't found confirmation.

Most likely the device will be presented this spring. Experts do not have full confidence that he will receive a sub-screen selfie camera. They point out that such a smartphone would eliminate the notch in the display in favor of improving the attractiveness of the device.

However, there are a number of disadvantages. The subscreen camera has poorer image clarity than its conventional counterparts and is visible in the sun.

Nokia 9 PureView, which is the predecessor of the discussed device, is not very popular. It is too expensive for the opportunities it offers. Despite the fact that now there are few devices with five cameras and a fingerprint scanner in the display, the smartphone has one significant drawback.

It is expressed in the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, which was already outdated by the time Nokia 9 began to be used. As a result, the performance and other features of the device left much to be desired. It was not a competitive device.

The release of Nokia 9.2 is delayed, which indicates the presence of relevant conclusions made by the manufacturer's developers. Surely this is due not only to testing the new camera, but also to debugging the interaction of the Snapdragon 865 chipset (it will be used in the hardware) with other equipment.

Galaxy S20 family will get powerful photo capabilities

The Galaxy Unpacked special event will take place on February 11. The Korean manufacturer will showcase the Galaxy Z Flip and the flagship Galaxy S series of smartphones. It will be represented by three devices: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra.

All of them will get impressive photo capabilities, but the S20 Ultra equipment is worth noting separately. It will be equipped with a main sensor with a resolution of 108 megapixels, 10x optical and 100x digital zoom. Also, the product will have an expanded range of light sensitivity, expressed in the presence of the Super ISO function. A separate trademark was specially allocated for it.

I started to evolve such a parameter as ISO with the Samsung Galaxy S10, where its range was in the range of 50-800 units. After the device got Android 10, it increased to 3200.

If we compare the ISO in smartphones from other manufacturers, then it is worth recalling the companies Sony and HUAWEI. Their devices - Sony Xperia 1 and P30 Pro - were equipped with cameras with a maximum light sensitivity of 128,000 and 409,600.

Insider Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S20 Ultra camera will receive Super ISO corresponding to 6400 units. This is enough to get high quality pictures.

This specialist also claims that the Galaxy S20 line will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip platform. And even devices for South Korea will be equipped with such processors. Previously, proprietary Exynos chipsets were used for these purposes.

Budget Xiaomi smartphone will receive Android 10

A few days ago, Xiaomi announced that the inexpensive Mi A2 Lite smartphone will be updated to Android 10.

The device will also receive security patches. Experts believe that equipping the product with the latest OS version will be the last model update. Nothing more is provided for it, except for new security firmware. They will be released for at least another year.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is the international version of Redmi 6 Pro. It has a metal body, a 5.84-inch display diagonally with a resolution of 2228x1080 pixels and a Snapdragon 625 processor.

Microsoft Surface laptop lineup will receive an update

In our country, tablets and laptops of the Microsoft Surface family are not officially sold. However, they are quite popular in Europe, so the manufacturer regularly updates these devices.

Recently it became known that the American manufacturer will soon introduce the Surface Book 3 laptop, which will receive powerful hardware.

The 3DMark benchmark database contains the results of testing a gadget equipped with a GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q video card and an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor. The presence of such a video accelerator suggests that Surface Book 3 will be positioned as a gaming device.

In this test, the younger version of the model with a 13-inch display was tested. It is possible that the older modification will receive a more powerful video card, for example, GTX 1660 Ti.

The date of a possible release of the line has not yet been announced.
