Sega will release a mini version of the Mega Drive console
Last year, large companies have a new trend: to release reboots of their classic consoles. Sega has decided to keep up with Nintendo and Sony and release a mini version of its iconic 90s console. The company spoke about this at the Sega Fes 2019 event.
The Japanese assembly will include such projects as: Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Comix Zone, Gunstar Heroes, Castlevania Bloodlines, Shining Force, Powerball, Rent-a-Hero, Space Harrier II and Madou Monogatari Ichi.
The M2 studio is responsible for the work on the SEGA Ages series for the Nintendo Switch, which includes games from Mega Drive, to fill the console's library. The main innovation is that you can now save anywhere [this is just a child's dream come true]. Some games will include regional versions, so both the Japanese version of Castlevania Bloodlines and the American one can run on the console.
Controllers, unlike the prefix, have an authentic size. According to Kotaku, the Sega Mega Drive Mini was announced in Japan last year. It was supposed to be developed by AtGames, which released a similar console SEGA Genesis Flashback HD in the United States. Alas, the reviews about her were rather negative, so AtGames services were abandoned.
Worldwide sales start on September 19th. The price of a set-top box with one controller is 60 dollars, with two - 80 dollars or 80 euros. In America and Europe, single controller versions will not be available. The western assembly is notable for its content, it will include: Ecco the Dolphin, Castlevania: The New Generation (European version of Castlevania: Bloodlines), Space Harrier II, Shining Force, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, ToeJam & Earl, Comix Zone, Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Gunstar Heroes.
Bethesda Will Perpetuate Lets Player Granny in TES VI
Recently it became known that Shirley Curry will give her appearance to one of the NPCs in the sixth part of The Elder Scrolls. Who doesn't know, Shirley is an 82-year-old letsplayer grandmother who became famous on the Internet for her Skyrim walkthroughs. Last year, she told her followers that she was afraid not to live to see the release of a new game.
Her fans, and just active users of the game community have created a petition so that Besezda somehow immortalize her oldest fan. The petition was supported by 50 thousand people. The studio responded to her and has already transferred Shirley's appearance to TES VI.
We did it using photogeometry technology to transfer objects from the real world to the game. At PAX East 2019, Bethesda said that it will be actively used in the creation of The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield. Also, Todd Goravd said that at the future E3 there will be no details about these games. In general, cry cry, cry.
As a reminder, Bethesda's E3 press conference kicks off on June 10 at 03:30 Moscow time.
Borderlands 3 is likely to be released on September 13
The assholes from Gearbox decided to give their fans a lot of fun. They recently tweeted a post urging players to pre-order the new game, slated for release on September 13th. After a few minutes, the tweet was deleted.
After, on April 1, the developer made another tweet with a picture in the corner of which the Epic Games Store logo flaunted. It was deleted after a minute.
The next day, the head of Gearbox himself, Randy Pitchford, commented on the news. He said that the distribution rights for their game belong to 2K / Take-Two. They are the ones who decide where, in what stores, and at what price to sell the game.
Pitchford himself says that he uses almost all stores: Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo eShop, Steam, Origin, GOG, Humble, Uplay and Epic and is good about exclusivity if it is not long, for example, only six months. Also, Pitford concluded, Gearbox is interested in cross-platform gameplay. Epic Games is now leading the way.
The storyline in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will be 25-30 hours
Following their major announcement, the developers at Hardsuit Labs continue to share new information with us.
For example, we learned that the storyline campaign will stretch for 25-30 hours. In comparison, the plot of the first game was 23 hours. The sequel also has side quests, and the non-linear storytelling encourages replaying them.
We've also been hinted that the cast will be one of the best in history. There are no hints of voice actors yet. As a reminder, VTM-Bloodlines 2 will be released in Q1 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be rated M
Yakuza Kiwami 2 is the second remake of the classic Yakuza series. It came out in Japan in 2017 and made it to the rest of the world in 2018. And only in 2019 did the game crawl to the PC. The ESRB commission immediately took over.
The game received an M rating, that is, 17+, as it contains blood, violence, sex scenes, obscene language and the use of alcohol in the frame.
Recall that in February of this year, a remake of the first part of Kiwami was released on computers. And her prequel, Yakuza 0, appeared on PC back in 2018. We advise you to check out this iconic series now.
20 minutes of The Outer Worlds gameplay
Obsidian Entertainment brought The Outer Worlds gameplay demo to PAX East 2019. The passage is accompanied by comments from the developers. They managed to show us examples of quests, combat and a dialogue system. In the video, the hero explores Byzantium, a city where the local elite live.
In the quest, our hero participates in the filming of a propaganda film. And to make everything look realistic, the director asks us to use real weapons. In the dialog system, some answer options are not available, to select them you need to have a certain skill or ability.
After the quest, the developers went outside to make a massacre. According to them, we can kill any npc, as well as bribe the police, so as not to thunder into jail. We were shown several types of weapons, such as a laser rifle and a scythe with a corrosive effect for armored opponents. But the most interesting thing was the jaw transducer. It is a club that changes the features of the enemy's face.
The Outer Worlds will hit the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this year and launch on the Microsoft Store and Epic Store.
Remedy spoke about Astral - one of the locations in Control
Recall that the game takes place in the Oldest House - the headquarters of the Bureau of Control, where paranormal things are happening. We were presented with another part of it - the surreal Astral, a void filled with white light with black geometric shapes.
In it, according to the studio communications director Thomas Pooh, the protagonist will receive new skills, fight and learn the details of what is happening. The Astral itself is another dimension, closely related to the Oldest House.
A variety of entities, monsters and elements live in it - the developers say. The doors to the Astral are objects of power that will help unlock new abilities. Since this is one of the most important places for the plot, we are not given all the details.
The game will be released on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One August 27.
