Share a folder in Windows Vista
In this article, we'll show you how you can share a folder in Windows Vista. Opening public access will give you the ability to use documents in the folder from any computer located in your local network. The term " share " is equivalent to " share a folder "; provide access to it for any computer on the local network. In this article, we'll show you how to share a folder on a computer running Windows Vista. First, select the folder to which the network will be accessible and place the files there that you want to make available to other users on the network. We have created a folder " Programs " (Fig. 1).
