CD Project is preparing a sequel to The Witcher series
Did you miss The Witcher? Then we have extremely positive news for you from one of the founders of the CD Project, Adam Kichinskigo. On the whole, it would be naive to believe that The Witcher series, which made Poles stars of the gaming industry and brought in colossal income, will not receive a full-fledged continuation. In a recent interview with the economic publication Bankier.pl, Adam Kaczynski assured fans that despite the end of Geralt's story, fans of the series should wait for new adventures in the dark fantasy world of Andrzej Sapkowski. At the same time, it should be noted separately that this is not just another browser or card game like GWENT, but a large-scale role-playing project, not inferior to the size of the games of the original trilogy.  But at the same time, one should not wait for news about the potential The Witcher 4 in the near future, because at this stage all the studio's forces are thrown into the production of Cyberpunk 2077, which will be released in the next two years at best. In addition, additional time may take the creation of numerous additions to Cyberpunk 2077, one of them, according to rumors, may be an update that adds a full multiplayer mode. When asked whether the game will be called The Witcher 4, or whether it will be a spin-off that makes it possible to create your own witcher, or maybe a separate game about Ciri, Adam Kaczynski did not answer. According to him, it is too early to talk about the name of the game. But the Witcher franchise is very valuable for the studio and they intend to develop it in the future. Also note that at the beginning of 2018, CD Project placed an ad on their website, where they recruited people to develop a "new large-scale RPG in a fantasy setting."
