Summer Sale has started on Steam - new minigame is already running

The fact that the summer sale has begun on Steam is just a reminder. The most interesting thing is that Valv brought along with her a new mini-game called "Grant Prix".

This time we will have a competitive race, in which all Steam users participate, randomly distributed among several teams. To help your team win, you need to waste money and buy titles, complete small quests inside the store and get achievements in games. Some members of the winning team will receive three games from their wishlist for free [who gets it and who doesn’t decide randomly].

We already saw something similar in the event: "Summer Adventure" a few years ago. If you want to know more about how the incentive sale has changed, you can read our material about its evolution.

As a reminder, the 2019 Steam Summer Sale runs from June 25 to July 7.

One Punch and You're Lost - Announcing One Punch Man: Hero Nobody Knows by Bandai Namco

Wangpachman is a very famous manga and anime about a hero who can kill any opponent with one blow. Until now, this series has been deprived of the game for its own reasons. And now Spike Chunsoft, together with Bandai Namco, have plucked up the courage to make a game, the main mechanic of which will be an invulnerable hero who kills everyone with one hit.

There is very little information about the upcoming fighting game. It is known that we will participate in three-on-three battles. They will let us play not only for Saitama, but also other significant characters from anime and manga such as Genos, Riderless Rider, Supersonic Sonic, etc.

The game will be released on PC, Xone and PS4. No exact release date yet.

It will be released on December 5 this year and will cost 119 euros.

Epic Games is going on a two-week vacation - this won't affect games in any way

Epic Games has had a lot of problems this year, the main one of which is rework. At one time, Polygon even did a lot of investigation related to studio crunches. Despite this, the studio still forced its employees to plow further. And now the problem was recognized, and the company gave its employees an extra two weeks' leave.

The studio office will be closed from June 24 to July 8. However, Fortnite will continue to operate normally during this time and will even receive a new update. However, there will be no esports competitions during this period.

This will be the first summer vacation in the history of the company. Prior to that, Epics allowed their employees to rest only once a year, during the Christmas holidays. In addition, despite this extraordinary miracle, no one will force them to work - writes lead animator Jay Hosfelt.

Return to Zen - 15 Minutes of Black Mesa Finals Gameplay

Zen World is the final stage in a fan-made remake of the first Half Life called Balck Mesa, which gamers have been waiting for for 7 years. The game should be out soon…. In the meantime, we're wondering how long this "soon" will drag on, the Crowbar Collective showed us 15 minutes of gameplay in Zen. Recall that the last part of the remake will consist of 5 levels, and it will take 6 hours to complete.

In the original Half Life, players found Zen's dimension very boring, so hardworking and hardcore fans of the Crowbar Collective series decided to show this level in all its glory, expand it and increase it in size.

The release date is still unknown, but the game will definitely visit our platforms in 2019.

This was all the important news of the first half of the week, stay tuned.
