WhatsApp developers have created a separate version of the messenger for iPad
The WhatsApp team announced the release of a special version of their app of the same name for Apple tablets. The new development of WhatsApp for iPad suggests a far from familiar interpretation of the iOS messenger for iPhones, although tablet owners will be able to access it via a QR code or via a phone number. From the new version of WhatsApp, developers expect to get a complete reproduction of all the main features of the iPad GUI. At the moment, the official Apple store only has a variant of WhatsApp iOS for iPhones, although a separate messenger app for iPads is already in beta testing. Before that, the messenger team proposed an intermediate version, which required uninterrupted access of the iPhone to the Internet, but later it was nevertheless decided to create a separate version of the messenger for tablets. At the same time, whatsapp on iPad will be compatible with all iPad models. WhatsApp for Apple tablets still requires registering a new account with a new phone number during the WhatsApp test case. At the same time, the "raw" version of WhatsApp for iPad contains all the basic options of the classic messenger and in addition has special features that support tablet graphics. The application bears a bit of similarity to Facebook Messenger. The screen orientation in WhatsApp messenger for iPads has landscape and tablet layout. Its interface provides for the simultaneous execution of two actions at once: sending messages and viewing previously created correspondence with other recipients. The call field directly displays all incoming and outgoing calls.  WhatsApp for tablets, like the main iOS messenger on the iPhone, has built-in support for the same functionality, including voice calls, Touch ID recognition tool. The creators of the application claim that these options are fully functional. The date when the final version of the messenger for iPad will appear has not yet been announced. There is also no specific reason why the application is still incomplete and continues to be tested. The most logical explanation for the delayed release is certain difficulties that I had to face when adapting the iOS version to the peculiarities of various iPad models. If we compare with other widespread messengers, for example, Facebook, Telegram, Viber, they all have a single version for all iOS devices. Only Skype differs from them, which, by analogy with WhatsApp, includes one application for the iPhone and another for the iPad.
