Metro Exodus Release Date Rescheduled and New Cinematic Trailer Showcased

Publishing Deep Silver decided ahead of time to present their customers with a New Year's surprise and announced that the release date of Metro Exodus is officially postponed. But there is no reason to be upset, because the new Metro Exodus game is completely ready, the discs have been sent to print, and the release date is now set for February 15, 2019 instead of February 22. In addition, we have more good news - a new trailer for Metro Exodus with opening credits has been presented.

Metro Exodus - Opening credits trailer:

If you don't want to spoil yourself, then let's say right away that by deciding not to watch the new video, you will absolutely not lose anything. Beautiful, atmospheric and heartbreaking music - without any action, but this is how the opening credits should be. Note that the Western studio Elastic worked on the creation of the video, which became famous after the opening credits for the series "Game of Thrones" were created.

The reasons for the postponement of the release date of Metro Exodus are not disclosed. But most likely Deep Silver decided not to compete with Anthem, announced for release on February 22nd. At the same time, February 15 turns out to be an even more congested day for game premieres. In addition to Metro, 4 games are expected to be released at once: Crackdown 3, Dead or Alive 6, Jump Force and Far Cry: New Dawn.

We hope that the abundance of competitors will not prevent Metro Exodus from paying off with interest and attracting new players to the series. Nevertheless, high-quality work should be generously rewarded, and given the innovations of the game, we have no doubts in the new Metro.
