"Summer of Gaming" - an alternative to E3 from IGN

If E3 was loved only for the announcements, it would not differ from the usual average game exhibition. In many ways, E3 is a symbol of gaming celebration and IGN doesn't want to miss it. For this reason, the site has unveiled its alternative to E3, the Summer of Gaming online event, which promises the same as the original E3.

It will take place in early June and will show us live streams with developers, gameplay screenings, interviews, and new announcements regarding projects for the next generation of consoles.

According to content editor Pir Schneider, gamers around the world are waiting for the next generation of consoles, and such an exhibition will be a platform where publishers and audiences can connect with each other.

IGN also plans to arrange an interactive so that viewers can vote for their favorite announcements, send their reactions to them.

Attendees have already been confirmed: Google Stadia, 2K, Square Enix, Amazon, Twitter, SEGA, Devolver Digital, Bandai Namco and THQ Nordic.

The original E3 itself will return to us in 2021 on June 15-17. Initially ESA planned to host the event online, but according to various media reports, the organizers are failing, so IGN is really on time.

Madness & Occult - New Rumors About Resident Evil 8

Last week we wrote that Capcom is developing a new Resident Evil game that will be larger than RE3. As it turned out, it was not about a remake or spin-off, but about a full-fledged continuation. Insider AestheticGamer told about it.

According to him, the game was originally Resident Evil: Revelations 3, but after extremely successful tests within the development team, the publisher decided to turn it into a full-fledged new game. Plus, this was influenced by Capcom's desire not to make a long pause between serial numbers.

She was 95% ready, but she was given one more year to turn into a full-fledged numbered game. All the rumors that we wrote about earlier about witches, the castle and the wolf were just about this project, and it seems they are still relevant. Although some of them are already outdated, at least the first person view should definitely survive until release.

The main themes of the new game will be madness and the occult. Also AestheticGamer announced the release year - 2021. Earlier, he said that the original game will be released in a few years. He explains his new information by the fact that the decision to turn Resident Evil: Revelations 3 into the original game [and what was supposed to be RE8 initially - to move], was made not so long ago. As a result, the development resembles the creation of the original third part, which was supposed to be a regular spin-off, but turned into a license plate, and the original license plate turned into a DMC.

An insider reports that in April we will learn more about the game from other sources, and there will be an announcement in the coming months. The game will be released on PC, as well as on a new and outgoing generation of consoles.

Saints Row: The Third remaster announced

Saints Row: The Third was released on the last generation of consoles, but now everything will be changed by the remaster of the third part, which was announced this week.

The main difference from the original is the improved graphics. The entire Steelport was covered with new textures, the weapons were modeled from scratch, the cars were redesigned, the lighting was modern. In total, the game has over 4000 new assets.

The gameplay itself remained intact. The remaster includes all story additions and 30 minor cosmetic DLCs.

It will be released on May 22 on PC, PS4, Xone in EGS. Also recall that in parallel with this, the developer creates the following number part.

Witchcraft and Wizardry for Minecraft has been released

Witchcraft and Wizardry is an RPG Minecraft map based on Harry Potter that has been in development for 5 years. And it looks like everything is as great as shown in the trailer.

On the map itself, you can visit not only Hogwarts, but other iconic locations from this franchise, like the Ministry of Magic, the Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and many others.

The game even has gameplay: you can solve puzzles like in the first Harry Potter games, play Quidditch, and fight many enemies. Plus, the game just has its own quests. So you won't be left without content.

You can download the map here. It runs only on Java version of the game 1.13.2.

These were all the important news from the beginning of the week, stay tuned.
