Features and Design

The basis of its hardware filling is the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, equipped with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz. To improve the graphical data, the Adreno 616 chip is used. There is also 4/6 GB of internal and 64/128 GB of internal memory.

ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie is used as software.

Users note that the device has a modern design, but its frames are not as thin as those of the company's flagship devices.

At the same time, it is pleasant to the touch, has a plastic back cover with an original way of applying the company logo and a beautiful front panel. Available in gray, magenta and blue body colors.

The package includes a screen protector and a cover.

Of the minuses, it is worth noting the lack of protection against moisture and dust, the use of slippery materials for the case. With any careless movement, the smartphone may slip out of your hands.

The device received several buttons for control, as well as micro-USB and 3.5 mm connectors. The power button and the volume change key were placed on the right and left of the case, respectively.

Screen and cameras

The 6.3-inch Full HD + screen of the Realme 3 Pro, covered with Gorilla Glass 5, has a pixel density of 409ppi. That's higher than the much-touted iPhone XR (326ppi). The gadget has an elongated shape in accordance with the latest fashion trends. Its aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. There is a neat drop-shaped cutout for the camera at the top of the front panel.

The main difference between this model and flagship devices is the presence of an LCD matrix instead of AMOLED. This has practically no effect on the brightness and contrast indicators. They are not bad, only on a bright sunny day minor problems can arise.

The software allows you to optimize the settings for the individual preferences of any user. You can, for example, select the Night Shield mode, which sets a blue filter to protect the eyes.

The manufacturer claims that Realme 3 Pro lenses are capable of taking high-quality photos. This becomes possible by capturing the same frame several times with different settings and exposure.

Images taken in low light conditions have a good balance of noise and detail. This is where Auto HDR comes in.

The front camera also supports it, which allows it to compete with more expensive models.

Software, performance and autonomy

Gesture control is also available. It's simple and straightforward.

The presence of hardware filling with characteristics above average allows users to use the smartphone to play 4K content. It will appeal to many gamers due to its good performance. This is evidenced by the results of the tests carried out on the device.

In Geekbench, the gadget scored about 5000 points, and Antutu - over 15,000. A small drawback is the presence of a mono speaker, which is easy to cover with your hand during gameplay.

The presence of a 4045 mAh battery allows you to forget about the outlet for a long time. During testing of the device by one user, it was discharged by only 10% per hour of watching one of the movies. It takes 1.4 hours to fully charge it via the patented VOOC 3.0 technology.
