Dying Light 2 Announced - New Zombie Action Trailer and First Gameplay Revealed (Topic)

Another important announcement at E3 2018 was the premiere of the sequel to the zombie action Dying Light 2. A trailer, gameplay and the first details of the game were shown. An important note - the plot is now written by Chris Avelone, a cult figure in the gaming industry who led the development of legendary games like Fallout 2 and Planescape Torment.

The participation of Chris Avellone can be felt already in the first gameplay trailer for Dying Light 2, since it becomes obvious that the main innovation of the game is a non-linear plot, where absolutely every decision you make will have global consequences on the game world. In the destroyed city, several groups will be represented at once, which are trying to survive in an inhospitable and filled with living dead world. You are free to choose which faction to assist, which can lead to certain consequences.

Other features of the original Dying Light 2 have been carefully preserved. For example, parkour in the first person, offering to quickly move around the city and change the times of day. With the coming of night, the last survivors are hastily closed in their houses, and hordes of the undead come out onto the streets, whose dexterity even the nimblest zombies from the Left 4 Dead series can envy.

The release date of Dying Light 2 has not been named, but it is known that the release of the game is planned for all current platforms: Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
