Sekiro Shadows Die Twice - a new game from the creators of the Dark Souls series received the first gameplay and plot details
Last year, From Software teased fans with a teaser for its new game Shadows Die Twice, and at E3 2018 finally revealed what the game will be about and showed the first gameplay trailer. From now on, the game is officially called Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and will supplement the familiar combat mechanics of the Dark Souls series with elements of location exploration, the ability to discreetly eliminate opponents and a cat device that allows you to climb the roofs of buildings and jump over deep crevices. As the setting, the developers chose the most famous period in the history of medieval Japan - Sengoku. Forget the aesthetics and polish with which eastern countries are usually portrayed in computer entertainment. In this game, Japan will appear as an inhospitable and blood-stained land. The main character, who lost his left hand in battle, will have to take revenge on the enemy and free his shogun from captivity. The gameplay will be recognizable to all gamers familiar with Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Despite the fact that it has not yet been confirmed whether the player, after the death of the character, will lose the accumulated progress and return to the nearest safe point, the game will definitely not be easier than other projects from the Souls series. The stealth element and the ability to move with the "cat" hook should add additional variety to the gameplay. Another feature is a mechanical prosthesis, which, like in Devil May Cry 5, can be improved to unlock new deadly techniques and deal with dangerous opponents.  Also, all fans of the studio will be pleased to know that Hidetaki Miyazaki is leading the creation of the game Shadows Die Twice, who led the development of all parts of the Souls series, with the exception of Dark Souls 2. The game is scheduled for release next year on all current platforms: Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
