The OnePlus brand has decided to play big. Instead of releasing only one OnePlus smartphone of the premium segment, the company is preparing two "flagship killers" at once - as the manufacturer himself modestly calls its future novelties. The upcoming OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are set to compete with all the top devices already on the market or coming soon. The official presentation of OnePlus new products is scheduled for mid-May. Both models will come with global firmware and will be compatible with most of the world's cellular networks. In addition, a separate modification of one of the smartphones will be supplemented with support for the modern 5G standard. "Younger brother", aka the OnePlus 7 smartphone, will receive almost identical appearance to the predecessor OnePlus 6T. The lack of an original design is compensated by the presence of a powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset - the latest eight-core Qualcomm novelty. Smartphone assemblies differ in the amount of memory. One of the modifications contains 6 and 128 GB of RAM and internal memory, there is also a version with 8 and 256 GB, respectively. In addition, the older assembly is supplemented with the high-speed UFS 3.0 module. OnePlus 7 in a glass body is equipped with a main camera with two sensors at 48 and 5 MP, complemented by an LED flash. The front camera has a small waterdrop notch on the 6.4-inch Full HD + screen. The smartphone is fueled by a 3700 mAh battery with support for fast charging technology via USB-C. The operating system is represented by Android 9 Pie with firmware Oxygen OS.  The older model OnePlus 7 Pro differs in the type of placement of the selfie camera (16 MP), which is placed in the upper slide-out module. In addition, the new OnePlus, unlike the "little brother", will receive a more modern design with an almost completely frameless screen. The 6.7-inch display has a built-in fingerprint sensor and an earpiece on the top bezel above it. OnePlus 7 Pro runs on the same processor as the younger model. In addition, the older version of the OnePlus smartphone has assemblies similar to the OnePlus 7 in terms of memory (6/128 GB, 8/256 GB), but also has a 12/256 GB modification. The device is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with support for the fast charging standard. OnePlus 7 Pro is equipped with a triple main photo module, the main lens of which has a resolution of 48 MP. It is supported by additional 16 and 8 MP sensors. The 7 Pro modification with support for the 5G standard has similar technical characteristics that are complemented by a 5G modem.
