Ghostbusters: The Video Game Released On Current Generation Consoles

It happens that some things appear out of nowhere. The 2009 reissue of the original Ghostbusters: The Video Game is one of those. Information has surfaced on the website of the Taiwanese Age Commission.

In the past, Ghostbusters: The Video Game has been well received by the public. It directly continued the events of the original film [all characters had the appropriate appearance and were voiced by the original actors], and had a bouncy gameplay. Her score on Metacritic 78.

The sequel has a simple title Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered. It is produced by a certain studio Mad Dog Games, which has not distinguished itself in anything, but was somehow involved in the distribution of Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, two parts of the NBA Playgrounds and World War Z.

Recall that the original game was created by Terminal Reality, which developed two parts of BloodRayne. After the Hunters, the studio released Def Jam Rapstar, a rapper simulator, and then dug their own grave by creating a raw The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.

Teaser for the new Oddworld subtitled Soulstorm

Oddworld Inhabitants reports that Oddworld: Soulstorm will reimagine events from the previous game and make a significant leap forward in quality.

The developers call Soulstorm a 2.9D game. All characters and models of the environment are made in 3D, but externally the game will be similar to a 2D platformer. Heroes also have the ability to move deep into the screen, which resembles the mechanics of the game Fez.

The plot will continue from the end of the first part, after Abe saved all his fellow mudokons from slavery. They will help us improve our skills and fight.

Another element of the game is the "scavenger economy", as the developers call it. Mudacons must constantly look for any garbage, which can then be sold, and with money to buy improvements. The length of the plot is 15 hours, but if you are a fan of licking the game 100%, you will have to pump up 100 hours.

The game will be released in 2020 . Platforms not specified.

Gameplay of the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

The general hysteria for Avengers: Endgame is coming to an end. On the other hand, GameInformer magazine started the month of superheroes in games. Within its framework, the publication highlighted Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, which can be called the spiritual heir to the Marvel cinematic universe.

According to the plot, the heroes must collect the stones of infinity before Thanos and the Black Order do. Here the similarity with the film ends, the stones will be looked for by heroes who have not been shown on the screens, for example, Wolverine and Daredevil. And the protagonists behave a little differently than their film versions.

Ultimate Alliance 3 is designed for a co-op of four people. So if you're playing alone, get ready for an artificial intelligence company.

Robot Claptrap's voice reveals details of the Gearbox boss scandal

In our last digest, we talked about the fact that the former Claptrap voice actor David Eddings will not return to his role due to the abnormal behavior of Randy Pitchford, head of the Gearbox studio.

Eddings recently spoke with Newsweek magazine, where he spoke about Pitchford's bullying, his aggression.

David recalls that initially he and Randy had a good relationship, and they even celebrated their birthdays together, since they were born on the same day. They soured over time, like Pitchford asked Eddings to play with him for the head of 2K Games. David came to the recording booth and waited for Randy, he walked in, pulled out the actor's earpiece, slobbering his finger and stuck it in his ear. You understand, there is little pleasant in this, and Eddings, along with the recording director, were dumbfounded.

He also remembers the incident at the GDS exhibition in 2017. On this day, Eddings was informed that a certain Greg Richardson wanted to buy a Gearbox. The source asked to keep his name a secret. When David told Randy about this, he got mad and demanded to name the person who told him the information, but Eddings refused, after which Pitchford pushed him into the wall and he hit. The next day, after an unpleasant correspondence, the actor came to the head of the studio in the office, after which he was fired with a scandal.

The studio reacted to the interview with a tweet: "The 400+ Gearbox employees who put their heart into Borderlands 3 are defamed by accusations like this.

Eddingson paraphrased this post on his Twitter: "The work of 400+ Gearbox employees who put their heart into Borderlands 3 is defamed by Pitchford's misbehavior." Who is right and who is wrong - decide for yourself, and we will return to the games.

A new World of Darkness game Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood will be shown at E3 2019

Recall, "World of Darkness" is one big universe where vampires, werewolves and other devilish creatures live secretly from people. Today, the flagship of this world in the gaming industry is Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines.

Like Vampire, Werewolf: The Apocalypse is a former board RPG. Cyanide, familiar to us from the styx and Call of Cthulhu dilogy, is engaged in the creation of the computer adaptation. In general, the game is in good hands.

The announcement of the game, but without the subtitle Earthblood, took place back in 2017. Now they are going to arrange a premiere screening at E3 2019.

We will play as the exiled werewolf Kahal. He must save his clan from the approaching threat. We have to learn to control our bestial rage and destroy those who are destroying the Earth's mother Gaia. According to the idea, the game should be released in 2020.

Another hint of RDR 2 on PC

This has already happened last year. On LinkedIn, where developers post their resumes, we tracked down a former Rockstar employee's profile that mentioned he worked on RDR 2 on a PC. This line was removed after publicity.

An identical situation occurred with Nan Ma's resume this week. He is a former programmer for Rockstar Games Toronto. His resume says he has worked on RDR2 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Naturally, this line has already been removed, but the screenshot remains.

Perhaps Rorckstar is following the already trodden path left after GTA 5. Recall that the game was released at the end of the life of the previous generation consoles, and six months later it was re-released on new consoles and PCs.

LinkedIn is a network where developers post their resumes in search of work, so they are unlikely to post fake information there.

This was all the important news from the beginning of the week. Stay tuned.
