Insiders spoke about the characteristics of Intel's new processor family

Intel plans to unveil the new Comet Lake-S line of chipsets early next year. Despite all the measures taken by the company to maintain secrecy, insiders managed to get hold of the technical characteristics of the new line of products.

It is known that Intel wanted to keep the heat dissipation level within 95W, but the latest data suggests that this has not been achieved. The performance of the chips of the new family has increased, followed by an increase in heat transfer. Intel Core i9-10900K, i7-10700K and i5-10600K now have 125W TDP.

The new line is divided into several categories. The first included the Core i5-10600K with six cores, the second with the Core i7-10700K with 8 cores, and the third with the Core i9-10900K (10 cores).

There are two more subsections: Maistream, consisting of 13 models with a TDP of 65 W and Low Power, which includes 10 processors (TDP 35 W).

The most interesting is the Core i9-10900K processor. The clock speed of its cores has increased, but the requirements for heat sink have also increased. When tested in multi-core mode, the frequency reached 4.9 GHz, and in single-core mode - up to 5.3 GHz.

The declared base frequency of the processor is 3.7 GHz in normal mode and 5.1 GHz in overpower mode.

The eight-core Core i7-10700K chipset has these figures at 4.7 and 5.1 GHz, respectively, while the six-core Intel Core i5-10600K has 4.5 and 4.8 GHz.

Insiders also made a prediction about the prices for chips of the new family. In their opinion, the most expensive will be the Core i9-10900K. Prices for it start at $ 500. The eight-core analog was estimated at 350 - 400 dollars, and the cheapest will be Intel Core i5-10600K. It will cost $ 220-270.

Mi Note 10 Pro will get ultra-fast charging

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro smartphone will be announced in the second half of 2020. Insiders claim that the main feature of the device will be the presence of ultra-fast charging. It will gain the ability to restore from 0 to 100% of the device's energy in just 35 minutes.

Assumptions are also made about the power of the memory. Here this figure corresponds to 66 watts. It is known that a smartphone with similar performance has recently appeared in the database of the Chinese regulator 3C.

There is also information about the intention of this company to show the wireless Mi Charge Turbo, the power of which was increased to 50 watts. Previously, this parameter was equal to 30 W.

However, at the moment there are some problems with the development of new Xiaomi devices, but nothing has been reported about them. Insiders are confident that all of them will be resolved by the specified date.

The release of the premium version of Xiaomi smartwatch is delayed

The first Mi Watch smartwatch was released this year.

Xiaomi then announced their desire to develop and bring to the market their premium version - Mi Watch Privilege Edition. This event was supposed to take place in December this year. However, the start of sales was postponed, the developers apologized about this.

Representatives of the Chinese manufacturer voiced their version of the delay - the desire to create an adequate amount of stock of the gadget in warehouses and increase the user experience. Here analysts expressed their opinions about what is happening. Most of them believe that Xiaomi released the Mi Watch only in order for this product to become a springboard for testing future novelties.

It is known that during the operation of Mi Watch, several significant shortcomings were identified, and work is already underway to eliminate them.

The Mi Watch Privilege Edition model will take into account all the flaws. This watch will receive a stainless steel case, sapphire crystal and a ceramic case back.

HUAWEI Mate Xs will be equipped with a powerful charger

The website of the Chinese regulator 3C has information that is directly related to a smartphone with a flexible display HUAWEI Mate Xs.

This is the second generation of this type of device developed by the company's engineers. The novelty is assigned the model number TAH-AN00m. Interestingly, it will get 65W charging. In this case, the operating voltage of the device will be V, and the current strength is 3.25 A.

Before that, there was information from insider sources, according to which the bendable gadget will be equipped with a Kirin 990 5G processor, made using a 7-nanometer process technology with an improved design of folding hinges.

Information about the amount of RAM and internal memory, as well as other data on the technical capabilities of the novelty, was not provided.

HUAWEI's foldable flagship Mate Xs will be unveiled next February during MWC 2020.
