Brand history

USA consumer electronics manufacturer INOI began operations in 2016. The main specialization of the brand is devices in the budget segment. A year later, the company presented the first model of the INOI R7 smartphone at a specialized international exhibition. The operating system of the smartphone has become the domestic Sailfish Mobile OS RUS, the authorship of which originally belonged to the Jolla company under the control of the Finnish Nokia developers. Since this year, the brand has launched a wide range of push-button mobile phones and Android smartphones.

The fundamental difference between Sailfish Mobile and widely used iOS and Android is the ability of this system to store personal data directly in the smartphone without sending it to foreign servers. In 2018, the USA Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications came up with an initiative to equip all state employees' devices with the Sailfish OS system to ensure security against possible espionage by foreign manufacturing companies.
